With his impressively quick punch combos, foot sweeps, slide kicks and high kicks, ed can deliver a wide variety of strikes without the use of single weapon; ed’s agility allows for a variety of defensive moves, from blocking to executing dodge moves such as rolling and cartwheeling and back flips to counterattacks. Counterattacks are a new feature in this installment. When an enemy attacks, if well-timed, ed can unleash a powerful counterattack which ca deal a great amount of damage; al fights on his own, but you can also give him specific orders. When you have to fight against multiple enemies, cooperating with ai enables you to fight with extra efficiency. Command ai to tackle enemies, alleyoop you to higher areas and man weapons. When the rage gauge is full, ai can launch you into the air to unleash a powerful rage attack.
